Virtualization and Cloud Computing

Network Infrastructure Virtualization can support to our IT related research and tasks in our University, because it can simplify the network configuration, reduce hardware requirement, balance the server load.

Cloud computing is like a necessity nowadays. The time is not far when everyone will be relying on cloud computing to perform the business/non-business related tasks. The cloud computing is a lot more important in today’s life. So, the cloud computing is very important because it has many benefits for everyone. The importance of cloud computing can easily be seen by knowing its benefits.

This research team was started with University’s faculties in March, 2011. The main objective of this research group is to build a “University Private Cloud” for giving e-library services to all of our students, teachers and staffs. Setting up the network, learning and designing virtual server and virtual machines are conducting as the initial steps.
